Также современные исследователи психологии первобытных людей все больше приходят к выводу, что причиной появления одежды был страх. Страх оказаться голым перед лицом опасности. Именно этот страх, причины которого скрыты в глубинах нашего подсознания, и стал основой для появления одежды. Важность одежды видна еще из того насколько быстро (исторически) она развивалась. С такой скоростью развивалось только оружие, и вопросы, связанные с одеждой крайне сильно волновали первобытных людей.
